Looking to have the perfect Valentine’s Day with your toddler? From crafts to gifts and outfits there are countless ways to make February 14th special for your little one. We’ve rounded up our favorite toddler-friendly Valentine’s Day ideas that combine learning, and fun with love!
Activities: With two toddlers at home I am always on the lookout for new, themed activities to help the toddlers learn while also being engaged with the culturally relevant holidays, and understanding why we celebrate! Here are some of my favorites for Valentine’s Day.
- Magnatiles – these are a STAPLE in my house – they keep the toddlers busy for a solid half hour which is a miracle.
- Sticky coloring mural – this craft will be the star of the Valentine’s Day party (at home or at school!) because it is an endless coloring book that multiple kids can use at the same time. We love these sticky rolls at home – they make such a difference compared to average coloring books.
- Valentine’s Day Bowling – when we’re feeling more energized – this one will get the kids moving and laughing, and playing as a team!
- Valentine’s Jewelry – this is another one that luckily takes a lot of time and focus for little fingers.

Our favorite outfits: In my opinion, there’s nothing cuter than a pink and red, Valentine clad toddler crew. Here are some of my top picks for quick delivery!

Gifts: I can’t help myself – I love to create gift baskets for my toddlers to walk down to on the kitchen table on holidays. For Valentine’s Day, I usually keep it pretty simple and head to the dollar store for sunglasses and small toys. I add one bigger gift each year – and these have been some of my favorites!
- Pajamas! This is the gift that keeps on giving for months until their next growth spurt 😉
- Cameras – My kids are OBSESSED with taking my phone and getting pictures of everything around them. These cameras are perfect to feed their creativity without risking a broken iPhone screen!

Last but not least – I have to mention School/Classroom Valentines!
These two interactive Valentine’s Day hand-outs are my favorite to bring to school.
